DESCRIPTION

Redesigned shipping packaging for govino to resolve identification issues in retail environments. Added clear illustrations next to UPC and unit codes, ensuring staff could easily identify 2-packs, 4-packs, 6-packs, and single units. Collaborated with warehouse and retail teams to test and implement the updated design.

ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Packaging Designer: Analyzed the existing shipping box design and identified areas causing confusion for retail stores. Created clear and detailed illustrations to be placed next to the UPC codes and unit codes on the shipping boxes. Ensured the illustrations accurately represented the contents of the boxes, making it easier for retail stores to identify the products.
• Problem Solver: Collaborated with warehouse and retail teams to understand the specific issues and requirements. Developed a solution that addressed the labeling problems without significantly altering the overall packaging design. Tested the new design in a real-world retail environment to ensure its effectiveness.
• Quality Controller: Ensured that the redesigned boxes maintained the same structural integrity and protection for the products during shipping. Coordinated with the printing and packaging teams to implement the new design accurately. Conducted quality checks to ensure the illustrations and labels were printed clearly and correctly on all shipping boxes.
• Project Coordinator: Managed the project timeline to ensure the redesign was completed and implemented efficiently. Communicated with all stakeholders to keep them informed of progress and gather feedback. Oversaw the rollout of the redesigned shipping boxes to ensure a smooth transition from the old design to the new one.
